Charlie and Louise Boren are the owners of the Russell Farm Art Center, which includes workshops, studios, meeting rooms, and galleries, as well as examples of life on the old farm, and collections of antique artifacts and farm equipment. As we walked around, the day was wonderfully warm and the winter light illuminating the fields, buildings, and cows was extremely beautiful.
The farm has been in the Boren's family for a number of generation, since 1877. Charlie is a sculptor, specializing in wood carving. The Borens converted the farm to an art center in around 1979. The galleries now show work by a number of artists.
