I'm happy to see that the last bird-of-paradise flowers are still in bloom here in Santa Barbara. The weather is stunning: very warm and sunny with clear views out to sea and up towards the mountains inland. We are slowly taking possession of our rented home as the owners are flying out tonight. It's very beautiful with both sea and mountain views -- to be documented in time.
I dropped Len off at the University and immediately paid a visit to Arroyo Burro Beach, which I have always loved.
The Channel Islands are very clear on the horizon, and I'm not the only photographer:

Warm, sunny and perfect. Are you still there? If you are, you know why I am jealous. Is it possible to stay above 58 for more than two days in Michigan. Or even one?!
